Kamilia’s interest in understanding and helping others led her to become a queer- affirmative clinical psychologist. She is passionate about creating a safe and healing place for clients to work through life’s difficulties. She is excited to collaborate with clients to work on strategies to help them to overcome their challenges and reach their full potential.
She has 4 years’ experience providing assessment and therapy for adults experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), gender dysphoria, relationship difficulties, burnout, work stress, and narcissistic abuse.
Kamilia works with diverse populations such as LGBTQ, youth, working professionals, elderly, domestic violence survivors, refugees, and people living with HIV. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Trauma-Focused ACT. She uses different techniques to cater to the needs of her clients. Kamilia obtained her Master of Clinical Psychology from HELP University and is registered with the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (CP1-0352). Kamilia’s interests include travelling, exercising, and playing with cats.
